Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman didn’t get a chance to share his feelings after the game on Sunday, but he sure wanted to make his voice heard today about the situation. After the Chargers won the game, Keenan Allen spoke up and said that Sherman was just another guy.
Here is Sherman’s response to that:
“You know, when a guy wants his name in the paper, he’s gotta say something crazy,” Sherman said about Allen on Wednesday. “It’s humorous. I guess he wants something to tell his grandkids: ‘Remember the day I caught a couple of balls on Richard Sherman? No touchdowns, but I caught a few.”’
When he was asked about his performance in the game, here was his response to that:
“I played pretty well,” he said. “But it’s really funny that two little Chargers say I was exposed. One had 50 yards [Allen had five receptions for 55 yards] and one had 60 [Eddie Royal had seven receptions for 69 yards]. It makes you laugh.”
Sherman finally has spoken up and of course there was some trash talk that was thrown in there. All Keenan Allen and Eddie Royal have to do is point at that scoreboard.
