Keenan Allen might be one of the cockiest players on the San Diego Chargers roster. He is the top wide receiver on the team and often times has to go up against the best in the business. Last week he went up against Patrick Peterson and on Sunday he went up against the self-proclaimed best corner in the game.
Allen left the game and wasn’t impressed.
“He’s just a normal guy,” Allen said, via ESPN. “We can go at him. We took some shots at him. We are not going to shy away from him. He’s not really a shutdown corner. We definitely wanted to come out and show we could go any way we wanted to and that we were in control of the game.”
Just look at the separation that Allen was able to create with his jab step on the best in the game.
We know that Sherman is going to talk more smack. The Chargers and Allen can just point at the scoreboard and let him know who had the better game. There is never any argument against the scoreboard.
