The Seattle Seahawks have the best defense in the league. Their secondary is scary good. The San Diego Chargers just faced a team with one of the best secondary groups in the league against the Arizona Cardinals, but now will face off against the best. Richard Sherman locks down one side of the field and the safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor are looking to destroy players that come by them.
The San Diego Chargers have a tough test this weekend. There are a number of players on offense that will need t o make plays this weekend.
Here are 3 players that need to step up on Offense for the Chargers:
The San Diego Chargers need to get the ball to Ryan Mathews. They need to trust him more in this game. He can carry the offense on his back on early downs and can keep the defense honest with his ability to run the ball.
When the offense has a lead, they can lean on Mathews more in the run game. He would be a better option to give the football to in that situation. Danny Woodhead might be a better pass blocker, but we will need to use Mathews as a threat in the running game.
