The San Diego Chargers have released rookie 6th round draft pick Marion Grice today and could be making room for some help up front. Having  5 running backs on the roster was a little excessive with the depth that the team had at the position, so they had to decide between Grice and Branden Oliver. The team decided to keep the undrafted free agent Oliver at the end of the day.

If Grice is able to clear waivers, the team will likely look to add him onto the practice squad.

The Chargers now have an empty spot on the roster and could look to add a defensive lineman onto the roster. The team’s depth at the position is inexperienced and could use a veteran. The Denver Broncos released Kevin Vickerson a couple of the days ago and could be an option for the team. He would be nice depth up front and could work his way to being a starter with the squad. He would be the name that I will be watching for.
