Manti Te’o Suffered Sprained Foot, Ruled Out vs 49ers

Manti Te’o will not play against the 49ers this Sunday and will probably miss the game after that, maybe even some time in the regular season. This is the second straight year he has missed time in the preseason.
His return date is uncertain, as Mike McCoy said in his usual routine, “he will be back out there when he’s ready.”
As everyone knows, Manti’s injury last season had to do with spraining his foot, just like this scenario. But McCoy answered reporters when asked if it’s the same injury with, “it’s not the same. It’s something completely different.”
A sprained foot is bad news as it has the ability to mess with a person’s speed and acceleration, two traits that he cannot get more of.
Kavell Conner will probably step in, so let’s keep a close eye on him against Colin Kaepernick and the rest of the San Francisco 49ers potent offense.
