Chargers vs Cowboys Halftime Wrap-Up

I don’t have much time here, so I am going to get straight to it.
Impact Players
Offense: Danny Woodhead, Brandon Oliver, Rivers and Clemons, Ladarius Green,
First of all, let’s not forget that the Dallas Cowboys have a horrendous defense. But that doesn’t stop me from ranting on the players that impressed me the most this half.
How about Brandon Oliver? Seven carries for 64 yards and a touchdown so far for the 5’8 prospect (Doesn’t he remind you a little bit of Darren Sproles with that number).
On the receiving side, Woodhaed and Inman are the ones that stood out. Little “Woody” looks like he is back in his form again, while Green looks pretty fast and TALL out there.
And who am I to not mention Philip Rivers and Kellen Clemons? Rivers ended his night going 4/4 for 61 yards while Clemons is also rolling (3/3 49 yards). Can’t wait to see Brad Sorenson.
Defense: Melvin Ingram, Steve Williams, Sean Lissemore, Jahleel Addae
No sack, interception, or fumbles so far for this defense. To be honest, they are playing pretty average to me. To be fair, Brandon Flowers, Jason Verrett, and Corey Liuget aren’t playing today!
Melvin Ingram looks the best out there. He is constantly getting to the quarterback and causing disruptions.
His coverage is decent so far, but the tackling of Steve Williams has been on point. He should continue to play hard to fight for a good spot on the depth chart.
I don’t know if you guys saw or not, but Sean Lissemore looked pretty good. He had one big play in the backfield and he constantly held his ground.
Jahleel Addae is yet again flying around the field delivering hard knocks. He seems to be everywhere.
Who am I missing? You tell me
Quick Note: For those that don’t know already, Matthew Pagels and I will be starting podcasts on BoltBeat.com called BoltSpeak. Ernie will be on the show once in a while, and so will other fellow writers. More details coming soon.
