There is a lot of hope on the potential of San Diego Chargers TE Ladarius Green this season. Fans are expecting a big year from the tight end, but it sounds like he is having some issues during practice the last couple of days. Here is a note from Tom Krasovic from UT San Diego:
For the second consecutive practice, Philip Rivers aimed a short pass to Green, only to see it go for a pick-6. After Eric Weddle’s romp into the end zone, Rivers chatted with Green.
Those two will need to get on the same page. Green has a ton of potential. He has a great combination of size and speed at the position and should be a mismatch for a ton of teams, but if he is having trouble getting on the same page with Philip Rivers on offense, then it will be a waste. Rivers will be running the Frank Reich offense this year and he is a year more comfortable in running the show, but that means that the other guys on the roster have to be on the same boat with it. Right now, the two do not seem like they are gelling.
