San Diego Chargers DE Corey Liuget has been slowed with a foot injury during practice. He has been fighting to stay on the practice fuled, but he has had to sit on the side with the trainers the last couple of days to rest his foot and to get it checked on.
Corey Liuget won't finish practice. Apparent ongoing issue. Has sat on cooler for several minutes, foot iced. Missed two recent practices.

The defensive front is one of the spots on the roster that is limited in depth. The team should just give him some time to get back to full health and keep him off of his feet.
Liuget fought through some injuries last season and played through the entire year. Hopefully he can get that foot to full strength for the season and it doesn’t become an ongoing issue during the year.
Last season we had Manti Te’o fight through some foot issues that eventually needed surgery at the end of the year. Hopefully Liuget’s issue is not that serious.
