The walking boot has made it’s appearance in Chargers park again. Last season, Manti Te’o was rocking the walking boot for a hot minute during the season and ended up needed foot surgery at the end of the year. His injured foot limited him during the year, but he was able to play through the pain.
This year, Vincent Brown is already rocking the walking boot and now Corey Liuget is in the walking boot. Liuget went down during practice yesterday, but finished off the practice after sitting with traininer. Today he is sporting the walking boot on his right foot.

Liuget is the best defensive linemen the team has on the roster. If he were to miss any time, the team wouldn’t have much depth o the bench to fill his role. Hopefully he is wearing the boot for precautionary reasons and will be good to go. He did have a different injury last season that limited him in some of the things he wanted to do. He played through the injury though. We need him to be healthy making plays this season.
