As we saw earlier this week in the comment section, Rivers is one of those QBs that people just love to hate. Whether he is on the sidelines going back and forth with opposing fans or squirming out of the pocket for a sidearmed touchdown pass, Rivers provides no shortage of fuel for that hate fire.

But as a diehard Chargers fan, I think I speak for everyone here when I say that I wouldn’t have it any other way. Rivers lays it all out on the field every single practice and game. He is the bright and vocal center of a heliocentric locker room that just doesn’t know when to quit.

I found this video on facebook. It is a compilation of Rivers’ Sound FX from ESPN throughout his years as the Chargers starting QB. I think it speaks volumes of his resiliency and ability to lead to Chargers out of a hole in a game, in a season, or even after 3 playoff-less seasons. Rivers is the guy that can lead us to the promised land.
