Why does it feel like we are going through this all over again with Vincent Brown? Why is it that we are sitting here in the preaseason again and we have Vincent Brown nursing another injury? We have seen this happen in his rookie season and we all know he missed his entire sophomore year with an injury. Brown is expected to miss the first preseason game and could be out even longer, per UT San Diego.

We are going through these motions all over again with Vincent Brown. Last season, Brown was finally able to stay healthy and he got the opportunity to get a ton of reps on offense, but the production was disappointing. We could have scratched that to a bit of rust for missing out a whole season of football, but we are here all over again with an injury and Vincent Brown watching on the sideline. How much longer do we wait?

With Brown as a spectator, Dontrelle Inman has stepped in and has turned some heads. Tevin Reese has shown off his speed during camp and Seyi Ajirotutu still is one of the best special teams players on the roster. Brown’s roster spot is secure at the moment, but this lingering injury has to bring up some question marks. How long should the team wait around?
