Brandon Flowers was brought in during the offseason and is expected to be a starter during the regular season, but he is working with the 2nd team to start out training camp. He hasn’t worked with the team yet and the coaching staff need to see him out on the field before they just throw him in as the starter. He will have plenty of time to take the starting job.
I don’t know where this puts Shareece Wright on the depth chart, but it sounds like he has a climb to make into the starting role. In my opinion, he should be working with the first team over Marshall. He has some time to prove his worth as well. Just keep him away from the other receivers on the roster. He broke a couple of them during training camp last year.
