The team will huddle up for the first day of training camp tomorrow and they will be without Larry English as part of the linebacker group.
The team had English hanging around on the roster for some time even though he has not been able to produce. He was taken in the first round by A.J. Smith to take over the linebacker spot from Shawne Merriman and he failed to live up to the first round billing.
English had heard all the madness from the fans and their disappointment with him. He was barely able to stay on the field because of injuries and when he was on the field, he was unable to produce.
The team has a number of outside linebackers on the roster that will be competing for a job. English likely would not have had a roster spot at the end of camp anyway, so they just killed any conversation about it early.
Thanks Larry.
