Thank goodness training camp opens up next week, I felt like I was starting to recycle through all of the players on the roster and was running out of ideas to write about. Training camp should give me a little kick in the butt to start putting up some content.

Getting all the guys in camp will wake up the football world and the comments section will be full of people with anticipation for the season. Luckily, we have a good core group of folks down their talking all the Bolts that we can at this time.

To get the love rolling for training camp, we will preview all the positions on the roster and see which players have their roster spot locked in and who is on the bubble. We will also check in on who likely will get the boot.

This post we will look at the wide receiver position. If this position had a relationship status on FaceBook, it would likely read “It’s Complicated.”

KEEPERS

Let’s start out with the KEEPERS.

Keenan Allen, Eddie Royal, Malcom Floyd

Can we put Malcom Floyd up in the keepers list? We know what he can do when he is healthy. We still don’t know what he will do after that injury. He is sitting right on the edge of glory, but we all need to see that he can still take a hit and still make an impact on the field after busting up his neck. Most likely, he is a keeper.

The other two on the list that are locked in. Around this time last season, Royal was sitting right on the bubble. Now he has his spot locked in without a doubt. That is the type of depth it looked like we had at the start of the year. It all has changed now.

We all know that Keenan Allen is a star, so there isn’t much to add to that point on this post.
