Malcom Floyd will be returning to the field this season from that devastating neck injury, but he is confident in his ability and confident that it was just a fluke injury.
“I’m confident right now,” Floyd said. “I don’t have any doubts in my mind right now. It was just a fluke event.” – National Football Post
Having Floyd back on the field will be a nice boost to the offense. We still need to see how he responds the first time he steps onto the field though. We need to seee what happens after he takes that first hit. We might be more hesitant about his injury then he is at this point.
Once we see him on the field during the preseason, our fears can be eased. We just are ready to see the deep passes from Philip Rivers over to Malcom. We are ready to see the acrobatic catches all over again.
