San Diego Chargers head coach Mike McCoy gave the status update on Nick Hardwick and he said that he was “doing good.” Hardwick left the practice field with a little bit of a limp and did not return.
Mike McCoy said Nick Hardwick is "doing good." Asked if Hardwick is going to be OK, McCoy said, "Yep."

Can we believe him? Mike McCoy did say that WR Danario Alexander just had a little ding last season. That little ding kept him out for the entire season. McCoy never really shares information on his players’ injuries. He doesn’t share much information at all. He keeps everything very close to the vest while blabbering on and on. We all should have learned that from last season.
It sounds like the injury is not severe. At least that is what people are saying.
Mike McCoy asked how Nick Hardwick is. "He's doing good." He OK? "Yup." No reason at this early stage to believe injury severe.

It always hurts to lose players to injuries, but at this stage of the season, it seems to sting a little more. It sounds like Hardwick will be fine.
@LobShots did bring up a good point though:
@UTgehlken but @UTKevinAcee said Magic Mike responded with "yep", not "yup." I just don't know what to believe anymore.
