Jason Verrett has been sitting on the sideline during OTAs, but today he was able to join the team for individual drills for the first time according to Eric Williams.

Nice to see the youngster get on the field to get some work in. It has to be frustrating sitting on the sideline watching his teammates put in work while he is resting the shoulder.

Verrett will be a big playmaker for the team, so they want him to get on the field and get up to speed as soon as they can. They just have to make sure that he doesn’t get onto the field too quickly and hurt his shoulder even more.

Verrett is putting in work and getting prepped for the season. Can’t wait to see him on the field with the rest of the team making plays for the defense.
