Morning Dump: San Diego Chargers News Around the Web

I am in San Francisco enjoying a little vacation over the Memorial Day weekend. You can check out my photo blog to see how that first day went. One of the highlights… we found a dead whale. Check out the rest of the photos here.

Time for the new look Morning Dump. Part of the new dump will be me sharing some of my photos as the featured photo. Now for the Chargers info:

Ladainian Tomlinson shared that he was selected to the college football Hall of Fame:

I'm so honored to be selected to the College Hall of Fame. Thanks to my teammates, coaches, family and fans!!#TCU

The Chargers were able to sign another player onto the roster to give the team more competition up front for the offensive line:

Chargers sign guard Craig Watts out of West Texas A&M… Ok, I'll say it. Lots of Wattage on this offensive line in training camp. #sorry

Danario Alexander still has not signed a deal to get back on the field and he might not get back onto the field, but he still wanted to share his ability to get up and bring down passes. Here is what he wrote and shared on his Instagram:

From high school to the NFL, I’ve told all of my QBs one thing, “THROW IT UP” #tbt #7 #10 #11 #8 #17 #?

Eric Williams of ESPN talked about the offseason and the moves that the team made: Chargers offseason wrap-up.

The Chargers also signed Craig Watts onto the roster and he will compete for a spot on that offensive line. Here is Rickey Henne’s breakdown of the signing.

Melvin Ingram threw out the first pitch for the Padres last night. Maybe they should sign him to swing the bat as well.
