Jason Verrett and Marion Grice are starting out their careers off right by watching practice on the sideline. The team already knew of certain injuries for each of these players, but the fans of the San Diego Chargers have seen so many injuries in the past that this is an unwelcome site.

Verrett is expected to be ready to go for training camp. He was still able to put up some nice weight on the bench with the injury and he still is expected to mix with the guys soon. He is watching how things work in the San Diego system and hopefully he can get up to speed real fast.

There are a lot of expectations from Verrett going into the season.

Marion Grice has a lot of people in front of him on the depth chart and he will need to make an impression quickly. He will get a shot as a return specialist and will also get to show off his skills as a running back during training camp. He will need to recover from that foot injury quickly and make an impression on the staff.
