Linebackers (9)
Donald Butler, Manti Te’o, Melvin Ingram, Dwight Freeney, Jarret Johnson, Jeremiah Attaochu, Kavell Conner, Larry English, Reggie Walker
This group was riddled with injuries last season. They will need to stay healthy to provide an impact this year and they will be counted on to get after the quarterback.
Jarret Johnson, Melvin Ingram, Dwight Freeney, Jeremiah Attaochu and Larry English will need to get pressure off of the edges. There have been flashes of potential from some of these guys, but they need to get consistency and some people still have to prove themselves. Freeney is the only player that has shown to consistently get pressure, but he needs to stay on the field without injuries.
The middle will be covered by Donald Butler and Manti Te’o, with Kavell Conner and Reggie Walker mixing there way in there. Conner and Walker both can help on special teams also.
Some tough cuts will be on this part of the roster. Andrew Gachkar will be a player to watch here. Thomas Keiser, Tourek Williams and Cordarro Law will also be pushing for roster spots.
