Runningback (4) Ryan Mathews, Donald Brown, Danny Woodhead, Marion Grice

Ryan Mathews is the main back and has Donald Bown behind him to shoulder the load if Ryan needs a breather or gets hurt. Mathews lasted most of the season without a freak injury, but was unable to last through the playoffs.

Brown is on the roster to keep Mathews fresh. He will take some of the carries away and should make the offense rely on the running game more.

Woodhead will keep doing his magic with the offense. He will be in during 2-minute drills and 3rd downs. He will be that change of pace guy on the roster.

Grice will be insurance on the roster. He will have to battle for a roster spot during training camp. If he makes the cut, he will likely be inactive for a lot of games. This spot on the roster will come down to Grice and Kerwynn Wiliams.
