The San Diego Chargers found some help for their pass defense in the first two rounds of the draft and found some depth on the offensive line in the 3rd round. Now what does the team need to find in the next couple of rounds of the draft?
The Chargers do not have a 4th round draft selection after trading it away in order to move up and take Jeremiah Attaochu. Instead, the team will have to wait till the 5th round to make their selection on the day.
The Chargers could use a wide receiver soon, but the better guys will not likely last till the 5th round. Bruce Ellington would be a nice selection for the Chargers. He has speed and can make things happen after the catch and can help in special teams, but he won’t last till the 5th round. If the Chargers can find a way to move up, then they should jump up and get him.
The team could also use more help in the secondary and definitely could use more help on the defensive front.
