The Charger’s Defensive Backfield & Possible Draft Choices

Based on what I am seeing, the Chargers may be looking for a player who can add depth at both cornerback, and at safety. A lot of people think Telesco may take two cornerbacks in the draft. That isn’t entirely unrealistic, as they have interviewed more defensive backs than any other position. Whether they spend a high draft pick on a safety, or a cornerback, they have certainly left themselves with some late-round options to solidify the secondary. Telesco isn’t going to reach, so if he doesn’t think there is a cornerback worthy of a first round pick, he will pass.. I guarantee it. That may open the door for some of these players to be drafted, if they are the best player available, at the right time.
My last article, before the draft, will address the offensive line. Stay tuned, and..
