I know I haven’t done many mock drafts at all during the off-season, sorry guys. But remember what I said earlier? I won’t be a making mock draft until we are at least a week away from the draft. So without further adieu, here is my first mock draft for the Chargers, all 7 rounds and a second option for all 7 rounds in case if my first choice get picked up. Here it is guys:
Round 1)
Kyle Fuller CB- Imagine Fuller on this Chargers secondary, he can give Shareece Wright a run for his #1 corner spot and he can even play safety in certain packages. Tall, lean, fast, he has hands, he can break up the pass, and he is versatile. What more can you ask for in a rookie corner? This is a match made in Heaven for the Chargers.
***Other Possibility*** Trade Down – If all of our targets in the first round are gone by pick 25, which there is a very good chance that this is possible, I would suggest that we trade down here and get a high second round pick along with a mid or late third round pick depending on which team we decide to partner up with in the trade. This is a smart move, we will have a high 2nd round pick AND a late 2nd round pick, and in a draft this deep, it makes way too much sense.
