MORE Possible Late Round Draft Choices For The Chargers

Chidera Uzo-Diribe, Colorado:
It looks like Telesco may be interested in taking a defensive end late in the draft, as this is the third one I have seen them show interest in. Uzo-Diribe is expected to go sometime during, or after, the sixth round. He keeps his pad level low, dips & wiggles, then uses his athleticism to turn the corner. He has a track record of forcing fumbles, and can drop into coverage in space. However, he is not a promising prospect, and is more of a project, than a starter. He is more likely to be a depth outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense, than anything. He shows spurts of great play, but isn’t particularly great against the run, either. I wouldn’t take him in the sixth round, but if he falls to UDFA, I can see the Chargers bringing him in as a camp body, with hopes of making the practice squad.
