Everybody loves talking about wide receivers, so why not start with one projected to go in the seventh round? Jones was actually snubbed, and not invited to the combine. As we know, the wide receiver position is deep this year. Jones clearly took this personally, and made sure that he had a really good pro day. The Chargers talked to the young man at the East West Shrine Game, and were present for his pro-day performance. He set multiple school records for the Spartans, including a record 15 touchdowns, and he does something that Telesco loves.. he produces. He probably won’t take the #2 spot on the WR depth chart, but he would flourish in the Chargers quick passing attack. Durability will be his biggest concern, as he has been dinged up quite often.
