I don’t know if you guys are following Jahleel Addae on Instagram or not, but take a look at his profile, he is not joking around. Jahleel Addae looked great for us in 2013 when he actually started towards the end of the season. He also switched in here and there whenever Marcus Gilchrist needed some rest, but man, he sure can light people up.
I don’t know if you guys remember his big tackles against Kenny Britt when he was still with the Titans or his other hit on Bryce Brown from the Eagles. But dang. Go check those plays out.
Addae was able to force a fumble, a sack, 38 tackles, and that fumble recovery against the Bengals in the playoffs. Sure his stats are not great, but he had a nose for the ball and loved to give a big hit to opposing players. How can you not like that about any football player? He is showing signs of huge potential heading into 2014 and seems to be the only Charger on this squad that is actually working out aggressively on his own time. Expect him to be our guy lined up next to Eric Weddle next season, I really want to see what the guy can do playing a FULL season of football and actually starting.
