Indiana WR Cody Latimer is scheduled to meet with the San Diego Chargers today, per Michael Gehlken. He will get to meet with the coaching staff and meet some of the players. Tom Telesco will be evaluating the young man to see if he is a nice fit for the roster.

He is returning from an injury and showed his speed during his Pro Day. He was unable to do some of his drills because of the injury, but he seems to be recovering quickly enough to get to training camps.

Latimer has the ideal size at wide receiver standing at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds. He would be another nice, big target for Philip Rivers to toss the rock to. If the Chargers were to be taken in the draft, he would compete for a starting job in a couple of seasons and would definitely push for some playing time. He could be a nice compliment receiver to Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd.

Latimer has been rising up the draft boards of late. Some mock drafts even have him taken in the first round. Right now his projections have him in the 3rd round.
