The San Diego Chargers did not receive any compensatory picks for last season after they had lost players like Louis Vasquez and Shaun Phillips to free agency, per Michael Gehlken.
They will have the 25th selection in each round of the draft and will not get any extra selections. The Chargers are going to build up the team from the draft, but they won’t be getting any love from the compensatory picks.
Even though we lost some talent in free agency, the Chargers didn’t lose enough in order to get a compensatory selection. The science behind getting a comp pick is a mystery. The Chargers get no love this season for it though.
