Chargers in Attendance for Notre Dame Pro Day

The San Diego Chargers were at Notre Dame’s Pro Day today and so was the rest of the league. Every team in the league was in attendance to check out what the Fighting Irish had going on, per John Heisler. The Chargers must have some interest in Louis Nix and how he performed on the day.

There are a number of prospects that the teams could hae had their eyes on for the day though. Zack Martin is another player the Chargers could have had their eyes on during the festivities.

Nix is a name that has been linked to the Chargers for a minute. He is a big man who can hold down that nose tackle position for the team and improve every other area along the defense with his presence in the middle. He is a big dude that can lock onto blockers and free up his teammates to make some plays on the defensive side of the football. He would be a massive upgrade over Cam Thomas on defense and could give the defense that extra bit that was needed to look decent.
