Loucheiz Purifoy Doing Some Drills with Chargers Scout

The Chargers were working out Loucheiz Purifoy today during his Pro Day. The team is in need of help in the secondary and Purifoy is a player that can help the team there. Here is some video of the Chargers scout working out Purifoy:

Purifoy is considered a talent that can be picked up in the 3rd round. He has experience on special teams covering kicks and is very good there. He is very athletic and can help the Chargers in the secondary. He goes for the strip when he gets in on the tackle and has good hands. He could be a nice playmaker for the Chargers to select in the middle of the draft.

The Chargers will need as much help in the secondary as they can bring in. At this point in free agency, the Chargers will need to draft a couple of players in the secondary to help the team compete. The Chargers re-signed Richard Marshall to compete for the starting job and Purifoy could be another player that could compete for the starting gig. If the Chargers select a corner in the first round of the draft, that player would come into camp penciled in as the starter.
