The San Diego Chargers keep plugging away and re-signing their own free agents. This time it looks like they are going to reach a deal with starting guard Chad Rinehart:
G Chad Rinehart will be re-signing with the San Diego Chargers, according to a source, so scratch him off the free-agent list.

This is another good move for the Chargers to keep the continuity on the offensive line. Rinehart was a very good starting guard for the Chargers and will be starting on the left side next to King Dunlap.
Rinehart missed some time last season with injuries, but he did well in the games that he was able to play in. The team now has all their starters on the offensive line returning next season. The status on Jeromey Clary is still up in the air. He still remains on the roster, but there has been a lot of chatter about his expensive contract. The team may look to restructure his deal or cut him loose. For now, all of last season’s starters are returning for another season.
UPDATE:
Chargers have agreed to two-year deal with guard Chad Rinehart.
