Daniel Jermiah of NFL.com just posted up his latest mock draft and he has the San Diego Chargers selecting Louis Nix with the 25th pick in the draft.
Nix has the tools to be a dominant three-down player in the Chargers’ defensive system.
We had just been talking about the lack of a nose tackle in our defense. Selecting Louis Nix would sure change that around. If Louis Nix is available with our 25th selection, we should snatch him up. We are in desperate need for a nose tackle that can take on some blockers and free up the other players to make plays. Nix would be able to make an impact with the defense immediately.
He would start at the nose and would be able to take on blockers and fill in the gaps. He would allow the linebackers to move freely to stop the running game and get some attention off of Corey Liuget. Many drafts have Nix gone by the time the Steelers make their pick. Could he slide down to 25?
