Former San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt was able to take one coach from the Chargers. Today, the Tennessee Titans have hired on former Chargers TE Coach Jason Michael to become their offensive coordinator. Michael had interviewed with the Titans after the Chargers have granted him permission to interview for the position. He worked with Whisenhunt on the sideline this season and had gained enough respect from him to get the opportunity to be an offensive coordinator in the league.

The Chargers will have to fill that vacancy now. They will have to find a QB Coach and a TE Coach on their coaching staff now.

Michael had become the Tight Ends Coach for the Chargers after Rob Chudzinski left town to become the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers with Ron Rivera. Chudzinski was just recently fired from the Cleveland Browns after becoming their head coach for one season. He could fill in to be a nice tight ends coach with the Chargers again.
