Why the heck is there so many EXCUSES coming out of Denver on why they lost to the Chargers? It just gives us so much more motivation to go back in town and shut them all up.

“The Broncos were on a short week.”

SO DID WE! We had the same amount of rest as the Broncos in that game and had the same amount of time to prepare for the game!

“The Broncos had their worst game.”

That is because the Charger defense shut the Broncos offense down and the offense rolled all over their defense! Philip Rivers and company controlled the clock and the game with the pace of the offense and Peyton Manning was helpless on the sideline. When Peyton finally got on the field, he couldn’t find a receiver to get the ball to. The Chargers forced their worst game. The Chargers forced the action. Don’t discredit the job that the Chargers did.

Here is what Broncos LB Wesley Woodyard said about the game:

“It was just one of those games we just weren’t at our best,” Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard said Monday to the Denver media. “I really don’t remember too much about it, but I do remember we really didn’t have that edge that we should have had on the field. It happens, and it can’t happen again. That was just one of those nights we didn’t show up to play our best game.”

EXCUSES!

What will the excuse be for the Broncos losing on Sunday? Von Miller didn’t play in the game?
