What was that you said about Meltdowns?

I remember a lot of Chiefs fans talking smack when the Chargers managed to blow a HUGE first half lead to the Broncos last season. In fact, some of them still bring it up. So do Broncos fans.
Well… what do we have here? Not only did the Broncos THEMSELVES blow a huge first half lead to the Patriots this season, and lose in overtime… but, the Chiefs have one-upped everyone.
With the Lombardi trophy on the line, and a 31-10 first half lead, the Chiefs came out into the second half confident. They immediately picked off Andrew Luck, and scored another touchdown to make it a 28 point lead. Then, they let Andrew Luck score FIVE TD’s!!!! Kansas City loses by a point. (At least their Pro Bowlers can play now)
This year, the AFC West had 3 teams go to the playoffs. The division went from a laughing stock, to a division nobody wants to play. Along with the NFC West… The West Is The Best… Both divisions have AT LEAST 6 good teams.
Now, let me make this totally clear to all of those Denver & Kansas City fans. The old saying is true… what comes around, goes around. For the longest time, you all mocked the Chargers for that meltdown. Now, both of your teams have had their own meltdowns… and both were of EPIC proportions.
So, now that the all-mighty Chiefs… with that easy schedule…. bullying all of those 3rd string QB’s they faced… who got SWEPT by the Chargers…. have gone down in “epic meltdown” playoff fashion for the eighth time in a row.. let’s hear what you have to say about epic meltdowns, and mocking the fans of GOOD teams.
Personally, I had a really good time watching that game, because I knew Luck was never out of it. It also looked like the Chiefs got cocky, gave up, and choked. The Chargers may, or may not win in Cincinnati. But, nobody expected them to win more than 6 games anyway. However, I will take comfort in the fact that they won’t blow a ridonkulous lead like that in the playoffs… win or lose.
So…. what was that you said about “meltdowns” again?
