CHARGERS THURSDAY PRACTICE PARTICIPATION

The Chargers will head into their first playoff game in 3 years relatively healthy. The only major injury concerns are Royal not practicing again and Mathews being very limited, but both are expected to play on Sunday. Mathews followed up this same practice schedule last week with his career high in rushing yards.

Kendall Reyes was a full participant on Friday for the second straight day, after being limited in practice yesterday with an ankle injury. Reyes suffered an injury late in the win against the Chiefs on Sunday. Reyes should be available for the entire game on Sunday.

Limited in practice again on Friday was Sean Lissemore. Lissemorewas limited in practice all week and may not play much in Cincinnati, especially in that weather. The Chargers will need him because getting inside pressure on Dalton is crucial in forcing him to make bad throws deep. Eddie Royal should also be available on Sunday, despite not practicing again.

PROBABLE

DE, Kendall Reyes (ankle)

RB, Ryan Mathews (ankle)

QUESTIONABLE

DT, Sean Lissemore (shoulder)

WR, Eddie Royal (toe)

BENGALS THURSDAY PRACTICE PARTICIPATION

Everyone listed on the injury report for the Bengals was a full Friday participant except for Terrance Newman, listed as doubtful with a knee injury.

Starting offensive linemen LT Anthony Collins, LG Andrew Whitworth, C Kyle Cook, and RT Andre Smith all retuned to practice on Friday and participated in full. All of them except Cook (Questionable) are Probable to play on Sunday. Even if they do start the game, in-game injuries could cause the Bengals to face the same problem that was a critical reason for our loss.

Starting WR AJ Green, TE Tyler Eifert, and TE Jermaine Gresham also returned to full participants in practice on Friday. Green was upgraded to Probable for Sunday, but Eiffert and Gresham are still listed at Questionable. If the two tight ends are out again on Sunday or struggle due to injury, it will give the Chargers a huge advantage.
