Breaking news: Philip Rivers plays quarterback. So when Philip Rivers is asked to be the lead blocker on an end-around, then hilarity ensues. Check out his attempt to make a block on this reverse with Eddie Royal.
AMAZING! I love Philip Rivers. I love that he will go out there and attempt to make that play. I love it even more when he completely whiffs and gives us a good laugh about it.
Somehow Eddie Royal was still able to get the first down on that play. Probably because all of the Chiefs defenders overpursued the run and nobody was even close to him when he got the ball.
The Chargers decided to run a couple of reverses in the game yesterday. That was a surprise for the offense. We didn’t do that too often during the regular season. What will we pull out of our bag of tricks for the playoffs? Hopefully they don’t need to rely on Philip Rivers to lead block on too many more plays in the future.
