The San Diego Chargers are starting to climb up rankings around the league. The media is starting to take notice on what the Chargers have been doing of late. Winning against the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs have opened up some eyes.
The Chargers have snuck their way into Peter King’s Fine Fifteen on his Monday Morning Quarterback article. The Chargers ranked in at number 12:
12. San Diego (8-7). Road wins over Kansas City and Denver in the last month, and the feeling that you do not want to face Philip Rivers (69.7 percent passing, 29-10 touchdown-to-interception differential) in January.
It is nice to see the Chargers getting that respect, but it might be a little too late in the season. Hope is still alive. There still is a pulse, but we do not control our own destiny at this point. We have to rely on some other team’s to help us out.
Number 12 on the list is pretty nice. We are even ranked higher than the teams that are in control of their own playoff destiny. The Miami Dolphins are ranked below us and the Baltimore Ravens are not even listed. Hoping for a lot of help this weekend!
