There was a point 3 games ago when the Chargers were inching toward a top 10 draft pick. After 3 straight wins, the Chargers are now holding to the 20th spot in the draft at this point. In a month, I would love to own the last pick in the draft! Crazy how much things can change withing 3 weeks and with a little help from our friends.
With the 20th pick, the Chargers will need to select the best player available. There should be a few good corners available at that position and there should be a good left tackle at that spot also. Right now though, the draft position doesn’t matter. I hope we slide even further down in this draft after the weekend and hopefully we will be talking about playoffs in a week.
PLAYOFFS!
I don’t remember the last time that we held a draft pick in the 20s, but it feels nice to have a team that is on the rise. We already have more wins than we had last season and now we are looking to end with a winning record and a possible playoff berth.
SCREW THE DRAFT FOR NOW!
