Keenan Allen set a Chargers record on Sunday by making his 60th completion of the season. That is the most by any rookie Chargers player ever. Ladainian Tomlinson previously held the record with 59 receptions in his rookie season. That speaks volumes about Tomlinson’s skills also, since he was a running back holding the Chargers record for receptions as a rookie.

Allen has been incredible and he still has so much more potential. This is still just his rookie season. Just wait to see how this kid flourishes in the future. He has so much more in store for him down the road as he gets even more seasoned. What an amazing selection for the San Diego Chargers. Just happy that the rest of the league passed on him and dropped him in our laps. Also glad that we didn’t make the same mistake as everyone else.

How many more records can Allen knock out in his career with the Chargers. Hoping that he can be rocking that blue and gold for a long, long time.
