How many times can the Chargers be in a must-win situation? The wild card teams above keep losing and we keep hanging around in the race. We keep losing every situation that is a “must-win” and it has been draining.
The Giants have struggled this season. Eli Manning has been throwing picks at an awesome rate. Hopefully Eric Weddle can get his hands on a couple of those this SUnday. We need some help on the defensive side of the ball. The Chargers defense failed last weekend and they will need to help out the offense.
The offense needs to play near perfect. Turnovers will kill us and they almost need to score on every possession. Philip Rivers will have to put on his Superman cape and make some magic happen.
Prediction:

The Chargers are in need of a win in a bad way. I expect the team to play with even more urgency. They should have been playing with that urgency before, but that is another topic.
Philip Rivers comes up big in this one and gets the offense rolling. Ryan Mathews will get to pounding again.
Chargers 34 – Giants 24
