Melvin Ingram is on the comeback trail. He could be back at the beginning of December to help out the defense. The Chargers hopefully will have a few more wins under their belt when he does make that return. It sounds like he is well on his way to making an impact when he does make his return. Here is what Bront Bird shared about Melvin, via the UT San Diego:

“He’s the best pound-for-pound athlete on the team,” Bird said. “He’s pretty good. He weighs 270 and can do a standing back flip after having ACL injury. We told him not to (and he listened), but yeah, he can. He looks like he didn’t miss a day. He’s just a freak, man. It’s unreal.”

We can’t put those expectations through the ceiling just yet. He is coming off of an ACL injury, but to hear that he is doing well and that he is showing off his freak athleticism is some good news for Chargers fans. Can’t wait to see him back on the football field.
