Why Does Derek Cox Keep Getting Reps As The Starter?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times…
Derek Cox was benched for the 3rd time yesterday and Richard Marshall was inserted into the starting lineup after Derek Cox gave up a couple of big plays to the Chiefs. Is there any reason to keep giving Cox starting reps? Is there any reason on why he should be on the field? He has been a disaster in the secondary this season.
Cox was expected to come over here and help our secondary. He was supposed to give us better support over Quentin Jammer and Antoine Cason, but he has been a huge disappointment. We watch Cox get burned every single game, but for some reason he keeps getting an opportunity to start. He may have been a good player with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he is nowhere near a decent player with us. We can’t trust him on the field. He doesn’t want to tackle and he doesn’t want to cover. He is a waste of space.
Bench him…. permanently.
