The San Diego Chargers put in a good effort against the Denver Broncos today, but the effort didn’t get the team a win. They battled and the defense was able to get to Peyton Mannning. They hit him often and the defense held strong in the second half, but the offense was unable to come up with the big plays in the end in order to get the win.

The offense struggled in the red zone again in the first half. We still can’t find ways to get touchdowns in the red zone. That has to be the biggest reason why the team is missing out on some of these wins. We had to settle for field goals 3 times in the red zone and we were unable to make the field goal on one of them.

The Broncos offense was efficient in the first half and the start of the thirs quarter. Derek Cox put in a poor effort being the last line of defense against Julius Thomas on his run down the sideline. It was embarassing.

We are sitting at 4-5 now and need to get some help in order to make it in the playoffs. Why do I still think of the playoffs.
