The Denver Broncos will be without their head coach for the game against the San Diego Chargers. Broncos Head Coach John Fox will need a few weeks to recover after having heart surgery. He will go under the knife on Tuesday to replace an aortic valve in his heart.
Prayers for coach Fox.
With John Fox unavailable for the game, the Denver Broncos will have to use a temporary head coach to call the plays for the team. The Broncos still have not named their head coach, but speculation is that Jack Del Rio will be the interim head coach for the team. He has the most experience as a head coach on the team’s sideline. He was recently the head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars and can bring that experience over to the Broncos.
It will be interesting to see how the team reacts without their head coach available in the game. If Mike McCoy was still on the sideline for the Broncos, he could have been the interim coach for the team. Instead, he will be looking to beat the Broncos in his first meeting against his former team.
