D.J. Fluker has been a solid selection in the draft for the San Diego Chargers. He has become a leader on the offensive line and he is going to get on the field and work harder than everybody else. He gets onto the field and is looking to hit and keep hitting.

Fluker has helped rejuvenate the Chargers passing and running game. The offense has been able to move the football down the field and he has helped contribute to that.

He was asked how he would rate his performance now on the scale from 1-10 and here is his response:

“I’m probably my own biggest critic,” Fluker said. “I don’t rate myself above a five yet – until I arrive where I am trying to get.” (Fox 5 San Diego)

Not even a 5?! I love this kids attitude. I love that he has big time expectations for himself. He is going to be a leader on this team and offense for many years in the future. Such a great selection by Tom Telesco in the draft.
