Chargers QB Philip Rivers is looking to have his 3rd straight game of 400+ passing yards. If he were able to complete the task, he would be the first quarterback in history to get that done. He already has 3 games this season in which he has thrown for over 400 yards, but he is looking for his third straight.

Throwing for over 400 yards doesn’t mean that we are going to win the game, as we saw last week against the Oakland Raiders, but it can’t hurt either since both of the team’s wins have come with him throwing for over 400.

Our defense has been so bad this year, that we have needed Philip to have games like this in order to compete. Philip Rivers has a tough task this week with the Indianapolis Colts, but I wouldn’t doubt seeing Philip having another big performance. The Colts have good players on the defensive side of the football and it will be a test for Philip.

Philip has adapted well to Ken Whisenhunt‘s offense and he looks very comfortable calling the plays out there. Hope he gets that 400… more importantly, hope he gets that ‘W’.
