Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden was not at practice again on Thursday. That definitely is not a good sign for McFadden’s status for the game on Sunday.
The Raiders will have their starting QB Terrelle Pryor backn on the field to run the offense, but could be without their starting running back. If McFadden is unaware to participate on Sunday, Rashad Jennings will be in the starting lineup running the football.
Darren McFadden suffered a hamstring injury against the Washington Redskins last week and has not been able to participate in practice the whole week.
McFadden has 211 yards this season and has averaged 4.1 yards per carry. He has a couple of touchdowns this season.
I wouldn’t mind having McFadden sit out the game this weekend. I would rather have Pryor sit on the sideline. He poses a much bigger threat with his ability to run the football and escape pressure. Will we be able to even get any pressure on the quarterback with Dwight Freeney gone? We will find out.
