Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden was not a participant in Raiders practice today. McFadden hurt his hamstring last week against the Washington Redskins and has a history of injury problems. His status for the game this weekend still is not determined.

The Raiders rely heavily on their running game. McFadden is the lead back, but heh as struggled in a few games this season. Against the Denver Broncos a couple of weeks ago, he was only able to rush for 9 yards on 12 carries.

The McFadden injury is not considered to be serious, but that doesn’t mean he will be on the field on Sunday. The longer he is sitting on the sidelined, the more likely the Chargers will see Rashad Jennings running the ball for the Raiders on Sunday Night.

Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor was back on the practice field today. He missed last week’s game against the Redskins because of a concussion. That was a pretty scary concussion for Pryor also. He didn’t recall what happened in that game.
